Discover the nature paradise of Belihuloya that offers enormous nature experiences with wonderful photogenic opportunities. This tour will give you a memorable experience in this remote village where you can explore much more than a simple nature lover can experience. You will get to see rice fields, bean and tomato fields and how the farming is done in conventional ways such as conventional water management, planting rice each plant by hand, or harvesting, preparing the fields for next cultivation etc. Also, you may see wildlife such as mongoose, monkeys, chameleons, cows, bird’s butterflies and sometimes even hawks hanging around the hotel and the vicinity.

Itinerary
DAY 1
YOUR HOTEL / BELIHULOYA
07:30
You will be picked up from your hotel in Negombo or other selected cities ( see the departure point) and driven approximately 4 hours to reach Belihuloya.
12:00
Arrive at Tree House Chalets and check in for lunch. After lunch, you will enjoy the surrounding of the hotel and spend couple of hours at leisure.
15:00
You will start your walking trail in the village of Belihuloya with your guide. You will walk through beautiful paddy fields and the friendly welcoming breeze that blow through. (Unpaved muddy path and possible leech bites can be expected). Meet the villagers here, peep into their lives and learn their living style and also you can have a chat with them enjoying a snack. Don't forget to take pictures of the beautiful scenery!
18:00
Arrive back at your hotel refresh with worm water shower before enjoying your BBQ dinner in an outside location under the stars. Spend the overnight Stay at Tree House Chalets.
DAY 2
BELIHULOYA / DROP OFF

Wakeup early in the morning and experience the sunshine over the mountains whilst discovering the wonder of nature surrounded by the hotel.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

Following breakfast, your guide will take you through another memorable walking trail to a waterfall in the property premises. Tranquil dip in this natural rock pool. No harsh chemicals, just you, pure mountain water and natural stone. This is a marvelous creation of nature! (Involves a somewhat adventurous, challenging short climb walks)
11:30
Arrive back at the hotel and get refreshed before leaving back to your drop off location. (We will arrange free drop off to your next destination. Please see the inclusions section for details)

Our stay at Tree House Chalets was simply incredible! The lunch was delicious, and spending leisure time surrounded by nature was so relaxing. The walking trail through Belihuloya village was picturesque, despite the unpaved path and possible leech bites. Meeting villagers and learning about their lives was a highlight. Highly recommend for a unique and memorable stay in Sri Lanka.

The village walk in Belihuloya was picturesque and insightful as we engaged with local villagers. The BBQ dinner under the starlit sky was magical, complemented perfectly by a refreshing warm water shower. Waking up to breathtaking sunrise views over the mountains was unforgettable. The guided walk to the waterfall, featuring a natural rock pool, was both adventurous and refreshing, showcasing the marvels of nature. We highly recommend this destination for a unique and memorable stay in Sri Lanka.
