During this tour your will experience the traditional toddy trapper’s life in the coconut trees. Toddy tappers task is to climb the tree and get the flower from the coconut when the time is right. The second phase of cycling will start just after the refreshment. You will cycle another 8-10 kilometers passing some beautiful countryside attractions and cinnamon gardens before reaching a small lagoon where you are going to have your second refreshment. After your refreshments, you will cycle approx 10-12 kilometers through the village to Bentota, passing some wonderful scenery with paddy fields. The toddy tapper usually walks a tightrope tied high above between two adjacent coconut trees. He holds on to a one rope at shoulder level and walks on the other ever so carefully, because a single misstep would be fatal.
Your cycle trail will end at your hotel in Bentota or nearby location. The total cycling tour will be 14-20 kilometers
