You will be picked up from your hotel in Nuwara Eliya or Ramboda and then moved to the tour starting point.

Your private guide will welcome you at the Ramboda Falls hotel and start the village trekking.

The main livelihood of the people living in this community is agriculture. Tea plantation and Vegetable gardens are a common sight around the village. This village tour will take you through a beautiful river that supplies water to farms. This is also the main stream for day to day activities of the villagers. Walk through the Tea plantation passing three waterfalls to reach the Village where you can experience the rural lifestyle. Your day will not be filled unless you experience a real Sri Lankan meal at the village. This tour will bring you to a paddy field where you can experience an authentic village lunch.

Walking through the lush tea plantations and alongside the river was serene and picturesque.
