You will be picked-up from your hotel in Anuradhapura by tuk-tuk and then moved to explore Anuradhapura site.

Arrive at the starting point and begin your exploration in Anuradhapura, the first ancient kingdom of Sri Lanka and a major royal capital for over 100 kings. Visit sacred landmarks including the Sri Maha Bodhi tree, a sapling of the tree under which Lord Buddha attained enlightenment, brought by Princess Sangamitta in 288 BC. Explore iconic stupas such as Ruwanwelisaya, Abhayagiri Dagaba, and Thuparamaya, along with ancient sites like the Brazen Palace and Twin Ponds. Discover remarkable ruins, sculptures, moonstones, and ancient irrigation systems while learning the rich history of Sri Lanka’s great kings and queens.
