Set out on your 4-hour journey when your chauffeur-guide collects you from your hotel in a private Air-conditioned vehicle. Start your tour with the visit to National Museum (own expense), the oldest and largest museum in the country that’s highly regarded for its antiques collection.

Visit the colorful and chaotic Petah Market, one of the largest in Colombo. Here you can find almost everything, from tropical fruit to fresh-caught seafood to jewelry. After shopping, explore the Gangarama Temple (own expense), positioned both on land and on a lake, and its small but impressive museum. Soak up the views of the Indian Ocean at the Galle Face Green, and expanse of beautiful parkland in this cosmopolitan city.

Whistle stop tour of Colombo. We had two auto rickshaws to whizz us around the main sights of the city on our one night in town. Great drivers/ guides showed us all we wanted to see, with stop for delicious supper en route. Thoroughly recommend this tour 100%

Our driver was great, informative & welcoming overall. He took us to all main attractions and gave us some good briefings about the areas. Very nice man & would recommend this way to travel around Colombo. Very busy roads so this way is safest, cleanest and easiest way to get around. He also stopped us at a nice local food court for lunch where you can trust the food. Caesor the best!
