Full day safari to Bundala national park will enable you to find many species of birds and other animals that you can't find from a Half Day safari. Over 150 species of birds can be found in this national park any time of the year. Every species of water bird found in the country can be sighted here. You will also be able to enjoy the sight of many Land and Water Monitors and Marsh Crocodiles during this tour. This shore excursion is very muh ideal for bird and nature lovers!
You will be picked up from the passenger pier at Hambantota harbor and driven to Bundala National Park.
Start your game drive in Bundala National Park which is an important wintering ground for migratory water birds. Bundala harbors 197 species of birds, the highlight being the greater Flamingo, which migrate in Large Flocks. Every species of water bird found in the country can be sighted here. Migrants and vagrants make the journey from as far as Siberia; over 10,000 shorebirds might be feeding at any one time between October and March.
Enjoy your Picnic lunch in a nice location at the National Park.
Proceed with the second round of your safari to spot some more animals. Occasional Elephant, Spotted Deer, Sambar, Hanuman Langur, Toque Monkey, Stripe-necked and Ruddy Mongooses, Wild Boar, Golden Jackal, Land and Water Monitor and Marsh Crocodile can be seeing during your Safari.
Leave the national park and proceed back to the Hambantota harbor.
You will be dropped off at the passenger pier in Hambantota harbor to continue your cruise journey!
