You will be picked-up from your hotel in Anuradhapura by tuk-tuk and then moved to Mihintale.

Arrive at the starting point and begin your hike in Mihintale, once a royal hunting ground and the sacred site where Arahath Mahinda Thero introduced Buddhism to King Devanampiyatissa in 250 BC, marking the birth of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. Visit the ancient Mihintale Temple with its 40ft stupa and nearby ruins of a historic hospital. After a short climb of 15–20 minutes, reach the summit to enjoy breathtaking views and explore ancient ruins with your guide while learning about the site’s rich history.
