Katunayake - Chilaw

On arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport, you will be warmly greeted by your very own chauffeur guide and transferred to Chilaw. On arrival in the hotel, spend the day at leisure relaxing and enjoying the hotel facilities. Spend overnight at a Hotel in Chilaw on a Bed & Breakfast basis. Chilaw lies just a few kilometers south of Puttalam and is an admirable city where people of varying backgrounds, religions and ethnicity live together in peace and harmony. The beach is calm and tranquil allowing you to lay back in complete relaxation and swim at ease. Relating to the post Portuguese and Dutch colonial era, the town is famous for pearls and a large fishing community which specialize in crab and prawn farming.

Chilaw - Anuradhapura

Safari at Wilpattu National Park Wilpattu is the largest and one of the oldest National Parks in Sri Lanka. Which is among the top national parks world-renowned for its leopard population. A safari in Wilpattu is very different from any of the other major national parks. The unique feature of this park is the existence of "Willus" (Natural lakes) that gives Wilpattu a genuine wilderness feeling. Sloth bears, spotted deer, wild pigs, and crocodiles are frequent sightings. Ancient City of Anuradhapura Anuradhapura is the first kingdom of Sri Lanka, famous for its well-preserved ruins of an ancient Sri Lankan civilization. The city houses the oldest historically documented tree on earth, grown from a branch of the very tree under which the Buddha attained enlightenment 2500 years ago. It was also the center of Theravada Buddhism for many centuries and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The relic chambers like Ruwanveliseya, Abhayagiriya and Jetavanaramaya, stand as the largest manmade brick structures in the world. The Brazen Palace, Twin Ponds, Samadhi Buddha Statue, Isurumuniya temple with finest rock carvings in the country, The Moonstone, The Guard stones and Thuparama and Lankaramaya Dagobas are the other important attractions that you cover during this city tour.

Anuradhapura - Trincomalee

Fort Frederick, also known as Trincomalee Fort, Koneswaram Temple, earlier known as the temple of thousand Pillars and lover’s leap are the major attractions covered in this city tour in addition to fish and vegetable markets. According to historical information, the Portuguese had demolished the old Koneswaram Temple and they built this fort with the parts of that. Occupying the neck of a narrow peninsula, Trincomalee Fort (Fort Frederick) has been a defensively important site for centuries. The Lover's Leap is also located near Koneswaram Temple and gives the viewers a breathtaking and thrilling scenic view.

Trincomalee - Trincomalee

08:00: Breakfast at hotel. 09.00: Visit Kanniya Hot Springs. 12.00: Lunch at a local Restaurant (Payment Direct) 13.00: Proceed to Pigeon Island where you can engage the day with Snorkeling and Diving. Spend overnight at a Hotel in Trincomalee on Bed & Breakfast basis Kanniya Hot Springs Kanniya Hot Springs is a famous hot well in Sri Lanka from the past. There are seven wells in a square shape. Wells are only 3–4 feet deep and you can clearly see the bottom. The temperature is considerably high but varies from one spring to another. In ancient times, there was a Buddhist temple complex on this site and the entrance is a part of a Buddhist monastery. Today this site is under the authority of the Sri Lanka Archaeological department. People believe that this hot water is good for some skin diseases and it has healing power for Arthritis and Rheumatic. Pigeon Island National Park One of the two marine national parks of Sri Lanka. The island gets its name from Blue Rock Pigeon, a native endangered bird who lives within the rocks in these islands. The islands were declared a sanctuary in 1963 for the purpose of protecting these birds. In 2003 this area was upgraded to the status of a National Park and the boundaries were extended to include coral reefs around them. The National Park has one of the best remaining coral reefs with the highest live coral cover in the country and is an ideal location for scuba diving and snorkeling.

Trincomalee - Pasikuda, Kalkudah

Whale and Dolphin Watching Boat Tour Trincomalee is another internationally important whale-watching destination. Blue whales in particular (plus smaller numbers of sperm whales) can regularly be seen around six to eight nautical miles east of Trincomalee (about 30min by boat), Dolphins (mainly Spinner) are also regularly seen. Most sightings occur between March/April and August/September, as whales continue their migrations around the island from the south coast to east coast. The boat leaves the shore of Trincomalee by 6.30 AM and mineral water bottles will be provided complimentary.

Pasikuda, Kalkudah - Pasikuda, Kalkudah

Batticaloa Dutch Fort Dutch Fort of Batticaloa which was built by the Portuguese in 1628 and occupied by the Dutch 10 years later. Thereafter, you will be taken back to your hotel and relax in the evening. Pasikuda Pasikuda, meaning “green-algae-bay” is situated in Eastern seaboard of Sri Lanka between Kalkuda and the Indian Ocean, approximately 35 kilometers from Batticaloa Town. The turquoise blue waters of the bay attract local and foreign tourists to this wide sandy place under the hot tropical sun to surf, swim or just frolic in the water. Many other activities are available from kite surfing, boogie boarding to surfing and sailing across in a canoe.

Safari at Kumana National Park Located in the southeast corner of Sri Lanka, the 18,149-hectare Kumana National Park is a top eco-tourism destination and bird sanctuary where numerous birds breed and roost. Kumana National Park, the eastern sector of Yala National Park, features the 'Kumana Villu' - a 200-hectare natural swamp lake fed by the 'Kumbukkan Oya' via a half-mile long narrow channel. This mangrove swamp is a prime nesting site for water birds in May and June. Regular sightings include pelicans, painted storks, spoonbills, white ibis, herons, egrets, and little cormorants, making it a must-visit for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts.
