Katunayake - Hatton
On arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport, you will be warmly greeted by your very own chauffeur guide and proceed to Hatton where your pekoe adventure begins. On arrival, you will check-in to hotel and stay in leisurely. Spend overnight at Hotel in Hatton on Bed & Breakfast Basis.

Hatton - Kotagala
08.00: Breakfast from the hotel. Proceed to Watagoda. Strat the trekking from Watagoda. Check in to the hotel and overnight stay in Hatton. This enchanting 5-hour, 15.33 km trek begins at Watagoda Train Station, winding past serene highland lakes and a tranquil banyan-shaded stream. The trail leads through tea paths to the Holyrood Estate, featuring whimsical signs like “Did you hug a tree today?” After crossing railway lines and village streets, you reach Talawakelle, the heart of the Dimbula tea district. From here, the journey meanders through valleys and quaint hamlets, evoking a fairy-tale charm akin to “The Shire.” Climbing hills reveals stunning vistas of lush tea country and the winding Nanu Oya River. The stage concludes in picturesque Kotagala, showcasing the region's breathtaking landscapes and rich culture.

Kotagala - Norwood
08.00: Breakfast from the hotel. Strat the trekking from Kotagala. Check in to the hotel and overnight stay in Hatton. This captivating 5-hour, 16.28 km trek begins in Kotagala, the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country. The trail passes the striking Chrysler’s Farm Tea Factory, a colonial-era gem with its vibrant blue roof, and offers panoramic views of Hatton and serene Singamalai Lake, a perfect picnic spot. Rolling hills of lush tea estates reveal the shimmering Castlereigh Reservoir in the Bogawantalawa Valley. Historic highlights include the Darawella Club, one of Sri Lanka's oldest planters' clubs. Along the way, colorful line rooms, Hindu Kovils, and Christian churches reflect the area’s cultural richness. The trek concludes in the quaint town of Norwood, leaving lasting impressions of its scenic beauty and heritage.

Norwood - Bogawantalawa

This 5-hour, 15.08 km trek begins in Norwood, the gateway to the stunning Bogawantalawa Valley, known as the ‘Golden Valley of Tea.’ Ascending to the ridge between the Bogawantalawa and Maskeliya Valleys, you’ll glimpse Adam’s Peak through the clouds. Descending to Norwood Estate, panoramic views of Maskeliya and shimmering lakes unfold. Trails lead through Kew Estate’s colonial tea factory, vibrant tea fields, village roads, and cultural landmarks like a church and Hindu kovils. The trek concludes in the misty, serene town of Bogawantalawa, surrounded by lush greenery and rich cultural heritage.

Bogawantalawa - Norwood
08.00: Breakfast from the hotel. Strat the trekking from Bogawantalawa. Check in to the hotel and overnight stay in Norwood. This 6-hour, 16.46 km trek begins in the charming town of Bogawantalawa, surrounded by lush tea estates and misty mountains. Passing the historic Bogawana Tea Factory (est. 1891), you reach the dramatic "Jacob's Ladder," a rocky mountain pass opening into untouched grasslands and the secluded Bopaththalawa Valley. Along the way, you encounter two dairy farms, Manik Palama and Bopaththalawa, before entering a tranquil eucalyptus-lined forest track. The journey ends in the remote village of Dayagama in the Agarapatana Valley, showcasing Sri Lanka’s diverse landscapes and hidden gems.
6 Day
Norwood - Katunayake
08.00: Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Colombo. As all good things come to an end, you will be safely driven to the airport for your flight back home having sweet memories of the tour with Beyond Escapes!!!👋
